Here are a some programmes that we have ran previously. They are here as examples of what we can prepare for you.

School Expedition Programme - Altai Mountains and Tuul River Journey. (28 days)

1  Depart UK
2  Arrive Mongolia. Transfer to the OASIS Guest house. LD
3  Welcome and Orientation, safety briefing, shopping and recce project. OASIS GH. BLD
4  Transfer to the airport and fly to Hovd, meet support crew and equipment. Continue by 4x4 to Monkhkhairkhan Town. Camp BLD
5   Meet our wranglers. Start horse trekking to Monkhkhairkhan Mountain. Wild camp. SC
6   Continue horse trek towards Monkhkhairkhan Mountain base camp. Wild camp. SC
7   Trek. We will leave our horses and continue backpacking in the area. Wild camp. SC
8   Trek. Acclimatisation day. Wild camp. SC
9   Trek. To an intermediate camp. Wild camp. SC
10 Trek. To high camp on Monkhkhairkhan (3000m) Wild camp. SC
11 Trek. Attempt on the summit of Monkhkhairkhan (4112/4362m) Wild camp. SC

22 Project day 4. Play games & teach English etc. In the evening we drive to Terelj, the start point of our Canoe Journey. Wild camp. BLD
23 Canoe Journey 1 Along the historical Tuul Gol, Terelj National Park. Wild camp. BLD
24 Canoe Journey 2 Continue through the Tuul valley, small rapids and short walking sections can be expected. Wild camp. BLD
25 Canoe Journey 3 We plan to paddle about 20-25 Km per day and so should finish close to Ulaan Baatar. OASIS GH. BLD
26 A free morning in Ulaan Baatar and in the afternoon we go to experience the Chinggis Cavalry Show. OASIS GH. BLD
27 Time for last minute shopping and a Celebration dinner then transfer to the airport. BLD

School Expedition Programme - Hovsgol N P and Tsaatan Community (33 days)

For a larger party split into 3 groups, with Open Canoeing, Foot Trekking and Horse Trekking. Based in Northern Mongolia. 28 days in country, 33 days total, via MIAT Berlin.

29 Traditional Celebration. We have a unique opportunity to join in with a traditional Mongolian Wedding party. BLD
30 Traditional Celebration. A great way to complete an Expedition to Mongolia. BLD
31 Ulaan baatar, last minute souvineer shopping and celebration Mongolian BBQ. BLD

Foot Trek, we will attempt to climb to the summit of Ich Uul, located on the W shore of Hovsgol. Semi-supported by pack horses and with a Mongolian interpreter. Cooking on gas stoves. Wilderness camping

Horse Trek in the remote area SE of Hovsgol, travelling in a traditional Mongolian Wrangler manner, eating traditional fayre, bivouacking in the woods each night. We will be cooking communialy Mongolian food on open fires. Wilderness camping.

Canoe Journey using Expedition Inflatable Open Canoes on Hovsgol lake, we will be self-sufficient, carrying all our (lightweight) equipment. Cooking on small gas burners in tent groups. Wilderness camping.

The Project is based in Tsagganuur,  NW Hovsgol National Park. Working in 3 groups, there are 3 areas of work;
1 Arrange summer camp activities for the Tsaatan children.4 x 1/2 day sessions.
2 Co-ordinate an English language class for them. 4 x 1/2 day sessions.
3 Work and help the Mothers to give them some spare time.
