The present day Mongolian Ger (Yurt in Kazak) has evolved over the last 3000 years. It is an amazing heritage of the traditional Mongolian nomadic lifestyle. The Ger has always been an important dwelling, having its origins back to the beginning of humanity. It is a conical designed tent, constructed primarily of wood and felt. Both of which are integrally available with the nomadic lifestyle which includes raising livestock such as goats and camels.

The Ger allows the nomads to live in perfect harmony with their nature and environment. It is easy to take down and put up in new grazing land. The great Chenngis Khan saw its adaptability and even placed his Ger from which he ruled most of the known world onto a trailer pulled by 50 Yaks.

Gers are available in a variety of sizes, with or without traditional furniture and in summer or winter weights. Each Ger comes complete with a full set of instructions (in plain English and with photos) for their erection. Gers are shipped with an established agency with satellite tracking and insurance.
