These maps are for demonstration purpose, they are readily available in Ulaan Baatar.

The most detailed maps are the Russian series, a bit old but good contour features.

There is a good 'Road Map' of Mongolia, spiral bound, but the position of many of the 'roads' are suspect.

The best piece of navigation advice is -
Bring a good GPS and know how to use it!
