John Wilson

A qualified motivational coach and trainer bringing over 30 years real experience in management. He has led teams of 6 people right up to 2000. In addition, he possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skills. John provides business advice to new and developing businesses on a range of matters from start up, finance, HR issues of all types, through to recruitment interviewing and assessment. 

His experience is with private, public and community sectors. He coaches and mentors individuals and groups in both business and “life” situations. 

John has substantial experience of employee recruitment & selection, marketing and business planning functions as well as use of quality tools such as IIP, EFQM and Chartermark. He is a group trainer in a variety of management and employee related issues including leadership, equality, communication, customer service and health and safety to name a few. 

John is currently a member of Inverness College Board of Management, serving also on their HR and Finance and General Purposes Committees as well as chairing the Pay Review and Remunneration Committee. He is also treasurer of the Inverness and Nairn Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses. John fills his spare time as volunteer with Victim Support.
