PRINCESS ROYAL
In September 2007 the town of Alness were honoured to have HRH The Princess Royal visit. Her first port of call was Mitchell Lane where she met some of the town's people and admired the many prize plaques on show and met four members of The Ross and Cromarty Pipes & Drums School. She then inspected Shillinghill Garden before meeting the Alness in Bloom Gardeners at the Millennium Garden.
