Using This Site

In general this site is for showcasing my work and seeing what things people like best. All the images on here can be ordered in some way, shape or form but some are more "ready" than others. The general rule is if you're unsure of anything contact me first. Even if I've sold out of a particular image, I can get one printed and mounted in very little time or even framed as well.

Descriptions and Stock Key:

With each image is a description. The description should tell you what is currently available and how many copies. In the example at the bottom of the page, there would be one mounted copy of a 4x6 inch print and two mounted copies of the 6x8 inch print. These could be purchased immediately by contacting me. There would also be one 4x6 inch print and one 6x8 inch print available which could be ordered either with or without mounts (there would be a wait though while it is mounted). In the example below there are also "Spares" available. This means I have a few bad copies of the image where the top and bottom or sides have been missed off the print. These could be purchased immediately at a much lower price.

"4x6" means a 4 inch by 6 inch print. If it is a mounted print, the mount is 20mm thick.

"6x8" means that the long edge of the image is 8 inches. If the image is a 3:4 ratio, the short edge will be 6 inches. If the image is a 2:3 ratio, the short edge will be a bit more than 5 inches (so basically "6x8" means "8 inches by about 6"). If it is a mounted print, the mount is 30mm thick.

"Gift Card" means... Gift Card!

I will try to keep this information as up to date as possible but I'm only human so do contact me if you are interested in any photos.

I prefer to sell images with mounts and no frame. I feel this saves you the trouble of getting them mounted, but leaves you the decision of what frame you like. I can however sell them as is, or if requested get them framed.

A note on images on this site

Unfortunately it is all too easy these days to just copy an image from a site and call it your own. As much as I would love to just show you the full images in all their glory, I cannot for this reason. To try to get round this, I've created my own user interface for the images. A web page will have thumbnails of the images on that page. Click on one of these and it will open to be displayed. The displayed images are still much lower resolution (smaller) than in real life and by default, an image displays as you'd expect, with title and description below. However, if you move the mouse over the image, text will appear at the bottom showing how many of that image are in stock and giving access to social buttons. Also, you can reveal and hide a detailed insert by clicking on the image. The insert simply displays a central strip from the full image, in high resolution (50% to be exact). For example, in the image below, the top half is the actual image that would be for sale, while the lower strip which is revealed on clicking is a close up of the centre. Pages with multiple images will also display left and right buttons on either side of the displayed image for easy navigation.
