Grow your own shiitake mushroom log

Shiitake mushrooms are delicious to eat and are also reputed to have many health giving properties.

On this course you will learn how identify a tree to sustainably harvest in order to create a shiitake log.  You will also learn about the health giving properties of shiitake mushrooms. This is a hands on workshop and you will inoculate your own shiitake log, and learn how to care for it over the coming months.  You will also find out how to shock your log into producing a crop of mushrooms when the time is right.

Herb Walks

During the summer months Jean Senior runs regular herb walks.  There are no walks scheduled just now, but if you sign up for our mailing list you will find out as soon as new dates are set.

Aromatherapy and massage for family and friends
