 Grass Snake. This one remained partially hidden and shows the effectiveness of the camouflage,occcurs on the Wick but loves the wet woodland as it eats frogs of which the woods offer plenty. Protected by UK countryside act. |

 Slow Worm The Slow Worm is a legless lizard, it can be distinguished from snakes by it's smoothness and the fact it has eye lids whereas snakes do not.Feeds mainly on Slugs.Also protected by countryside act. |
