Schools

The first children sponsored by Himalayan Children  were boarders at Lamdon School in Ladakh, where Gail had good links with the Principal.  Follow the sub menu for more details, or click here.

We are now placing other children in local village schools, and hope to have photos and details of these soon.   The children write letters to their 'godparents' - their name for their sponsors.  Thye also send their report cards - end of year results are very important, as progression to the next class has to be earned, it is not automatic.
