The GlareBuster is the first consumer floodlight to use a full 'cut-off' design. This unique 'forward throw' fixture is designed to light areas without blinding glare. Glare is a nuisance that we've come to expect from outdoor lighting - but one that is not necessary. Contrary to popular thinking, a bright glaring light actually interferes with our ability to see surroundings at night. Reducing glare allows us to see more, helping us navigate safely.

The GlareBuster uses standard screw fitting light bulbs up to 100w, and power-saving compact fluorescent bulbs up to 26w (120w equivalent). It can also be fitted with a standard PIR motion detector (cfl bulb not recommended with PIR), switching on only when needed - saving you even more money and reducing energy waste and 'sky glow'!
