Uniqueness came about as a direct response to the reduction of learning opportunities in the field of adult education and community learning in Highland. Here at Uniqueness we aim is to provide quality learning and development opportunities inspiring positive change for all.
Helping people live more successfully
Taking part in learning opportunities allows us to gain new skills and discover more about ourselves and others. Events such as looking for work, having a family, caring for others or retiring can be difficult for most people. Building confidence and increasing our abilities helps us live our lives more fully and become more successful citizens, workers and parents.
Business and social enterprise
Cath set up her first business in 1988, running it successfully for 6 years before taking a career break to have her children. Since then Cath, amongst other things, has set up a trading arm of a charity and founded Uniqueness in 2008.
