Unfortunately this website, set up with optimism, is not working as well as it could or should. I had hoped that it would have been adopted in some way by the Renfrew Local Biodiversity Plan group (hosted by Renfrewshire Council). That hasn't happened. I am contacting that group to see what future prospects are.
Over the next few months I hope to find a way to make this work. A look at parallel areas around the UK shows that we are one of few areas without an active website to record the local flora and fauna, habitats and sites. Even the (barebones) Glasgow Records centre has gone offline.
In the meantime! my main activity has been through the Clyde Area Fungus group who have been very busy with a number of field trips around the area. Well worth joining.
