Scotland has several area-based Biological Record Centres which have a shared aim of being a comprehensive source of local wildlife information as well as information about conservation and wildlife study activities. I hope that this website will develop in the same direction.

BRISC - the Biological Recording in Scotland Campaign is an umbrella organisation representing recorders and record centres. Their website gives access to their conference papers and other useful information about the recording scene in Scotland
