THE WRITINGS

In my spare time I like to write and perform poetry.  Some of these are funny, some of them are observations on life and some of them are serious.  I will include in this section a selection of my poetry.  You are welcome to use them as long as you acknowledge me as the writer.

Mr Cameron, Can you hear me?
Too well for ESA
To ill for JSA
You might get DLA
But in April We’ll take it away
Don’t bother to look at us if you can’t get a job
Cos if you’re claiming benefits, we’ll treat you as if you’re on the rob

You’re not a human being,
You’re a problem to be solved
And if you resort to suicide
Then the problem will be resolved

Chorus:
Disability is a crime
You will be punished time after time
No one wants you, no one cares
And everyone says the problem’s not theirs

You can stuff your PIP
It’s no good to you or me
Buy a Big Issue to show that you care
But at the day of reckoning will you be there
Standing by the disabled and vulnerable
Help someone believe that they don’t have to end it all

Chorus:
Disability Is a crime
You will be punished time after time
No one wants you, no one cares
And everyone says the problem’s not theirs

Raise your head above the rest
Let them know you’re not impressed
Rob from the poor to give to the rich
Don’t you know that life’s a bitch

Life’s a bitch called Margaret Thatcher
Oh My God she’s back to get ya
At least we all knew that she was bad
With David Cameron we’ve all been had

Chorus
Disability is a crime
You will be punished time after time
No one wants you, no one cares
And everyone says the problem’s not theirs

Stick your sympathy and your platitudes
We really need a change of attitude
We need to care for the weak and the needy
Mr Cameron CAN YOU HEAR ME!!!!!

Chorus
Disability is a crime
You will be punished time after time
No one wants you, no one cares
But the bottom line is the problem is theirs
