50% Alpaca, 50% Peruvian Highland Wool
Another gorgeous South American Fairtrade yarn, this time in a heavier weight. It is slightly "hairy" due to the alpaca content, but it is deliciously soft, and very, very warm. Perfect for very cold days, and those who need extra warmth at times. Two of our Clyde Collection designs are knitted in this yarn – the Sanda circular scarf, and the larger Arran scarf, which can also double as a wrap.

This is the walnut colourway - a lovely combination of browns with a grey fleck through it |
And here are the rich cream tones of the maple colourway. Both colours are offset beautifully by the handmade mock horn toggles which complement the Arran design. Each of these colours is also used in the three-colour Sanda circular scarf, where they are teamed with the brighter pink and teal shades below. |

This is the natural white shade used in both versions of the Sanda scarf |
And this is the rose pink which is combined with walnut, and the natural white above, to give one version of the lovely Sanda design. | ![]() |

And finally, the stunning teal green which is combined with maple and natural white to create the alternative version of the Sanda scarf. See them both on the relevant page in the Clyde Collection. |
