Work statement
.
I have lived in the same location in the very northern tip of Hampshire all my life. Born to an artistic and creative family I was surrounded by two and three-dimensional craftspeople from an early age who were a massive inspiration to me. Much to my delight I went straight to Art College after leaving school.
I find my biggest inspiration is in the natural beauty of the changing seasons in the countryside that surround me and I enjoy creating exciting paintings in bright colours using either acrylic or oil. I love the amazing sunsets and cloud formations that seem to be a daily part of my life on the remote down land of north Hampshire and these are the things I try to capture in my paintings. I have recently returned to working in a more detailed manner and am enjoying pencil, coloured crayons and watercolour mediums.
In the gallery below are a variety of paintings some of which I am happy to sell online as they are fairly small. If you would like to purchase please contact me, we will then arrange postage.
Commissions: I would be delighted to paint or draw your special pet or child, grandchild or even grandparent, again please contact me to discuss cost, framing and postage if applicable.

Please feel free to contact me through the Contact page, if you wish to discuss commissioning me to paint a particular view for you or a pet portrait.
These days I prefer to paint or draw for myself without the pressure of producing work for galleries and exhibitions.
2016 saw me return to painting again and my current work is focusing on farm animals and wildlife.
In 2017 I have produced a number of water colours of pets and work in my sketch book.
2020 proved to be a very productive year thanks to covid19 and I was able to complete 10 pet portaits and even a number of oil landscapes.
2021, here we are coming to the end of yet another Covid lockdown in April but I eventually mananged to inspire my self to get out and about with my sketch books and am curently enjoying sketching local views and even managed a plein air moment with my easle.
