Dunvegan Community Trust - Reg. Charity SCO 40318

Dunvegan is a thriving village community on the Isle of Skye in the Highlands of Scotland. As a trust, we are elected to work on behalf of our community to support and encourage local initiatives.

The Dunvegan Trust's primary role is to distribute the community fund generated by the Ben Aketil Wind Farm (Falck Renewables).

The majority of funding is available as a grant to local constituted, not-for-profit groups that operate in the Dunvegan area.

Project and skills development grants must benefit the residents of the Dunvegan area (which includes the surrounding townships of Harlosh, Feorlig, Vatten, Roag, Herebost, Orbost,  Horneval, Greep, Claigan and Uiginish).

Dunvegan Community Trust manages the fund on behalf of Falck Renewables and has distributed over a quarter million pounds since the fund was established in 2009 following the opening of Ben Aketil windfarm.
