About Cheryl
Cheryl Firth was born and brought up in Swansea but when she got married to her husband John, they lived in Neath where they brought up two children and ran a very successful picture framing business based in Neath and Swansea markets until some time ago.
Cheryl has sold many of her fine works to a variety of galleries in the South Wales area and specialises in landscapes, seascapes and animal portraits.
As Cheryl was born in Swansea she still has a strong bond with the Gower pennisula and currently has a small selection of prints on exhibition in the Gower Hertiage Centre at Parkmill in Swansea, and during the summer months there will be a larger range of pictures available to view and buy as there is a very strong interest in her work from tourists to the Gower and surrounding areas. Cheryl's love of the Gower is reflected well in her work as one can see from her paintings.
In December 2013 Cheryl had an exhibition of her work in Victora Gardens, Neath, where many photographs on this website were taken.
Cheryl is a very active person and loves the outdoor life, has four dogs whom she walks regularly. Her other interests include horses and gardening.
