Aberdeen University Shinty Club play in Marine Harvest North Division Two. We hold the distinction of being the oldest constituted shinty club in Scotland dating back to 9th November 1861.  The original document is held by the University of Aberdeen in Marischal Museum.

Despite the club's name we field a mixed student and non-student team. There are also two student teams - mens and womens - who compete in the University competitions.
