Thanks for the best wishes although I'm not sure about the only Irishman to win the Sutherland! I'm sure someone, somewhere, will know of someone else who won a Sutherland years ago but you're certainly the only Irishman that has won a Sutherland Cup medal with Aberdeen University!!

We tried to get in contact with you last year for the 150th celebrations but we couldn't get an e-mail address for you. There were various articles in newspapers and on the shinty website and we hoped you'd get in touch.

The celebratiosn went tremendously well and we were fortunate to have the First Minister in attendance. We've also published a book recording the club's history and obviously 2005 features heavily. If you'd like a copy get in touch and let me know. It's £10 plus £2 postage and packaging.
