Legacy Policy
We welcome and are very grateful for all gifts in wills, however, large or small, and we promise to use your gifts to make a difference in our parish.
Our legacy policy is to use gifts in areas of activity which are most in need of funding at the time. Ideally they would help fund significant development projects - buildings or equipment, for example.
Because the churches' needs tend to change over the years, we do encourage gifts to be left for the general purposes of the parish rather than for a restricted purpose. (We may discuss possible uses of your gift with your executors when the time comes.)
Leaving a legacy can, depending on your personal circumstances, be a very tax efficient way of managing your estate, and you may wish to seek appropriate advice when considering your gift.
