UK EMERGENCY ALERTS
The UK Government are due to introduce a new UK Alert System which will send an Alert to Mobile Phone (and other devices) users across the UK in the event of a National Emergency, or one local to that area, such as Flooding, Wildfires or Terrorism incidents.
The Alert will be by way of a siren and a message. Phone users will have to acknowledge the Alert before they can use other features on their devices.
