Family holiday in Gabran
We stayed in Gabran for our first family holiday with our seven month old. So glad we did! Gabran was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed (including cotbed supplied). The setting is just gorgeous - beautiful scenery to come ‘home’ to after a days exploring (and there’s a lot to explore!). Highlights for us were Tayvallich and the nature reserve there; Westport beach, the town of Talbert and the Square Peg sandwich bar in Lochgilphead town - I think we got sandwiches there almost every day before setting out on hikes - they were that good.
It’s been said before but Ewan and Lesley, and their family, were lovely hosts - helpful, kind and full of suggestions to help us make the most of our stay. Our baby loved meeting all the animals. We hope to come back some day -it’s such a special place. Thank you, Ewan and Lesley!

Old Cheese Loft-Sept.27 to Oct.2
Our second stay at Dunadd Cottages. We had a wonderful stay in the Old Cheese Loft while hiking and exploring in the area. Just the trails near Crinan and Tayvallich made the stay memorable. Lesley and her family were very kind and helpful.

Comgall Cottage 21st Dec - 2nd Jan 1019
We spent Christmas and New Year in this beautiful cottage and were married in St Margaret's Church in the village on the 24th December 2018. Our hosts Lesley and Ewan made us very welcome, they had put up a Christmas tree for the children to decorate and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us after our ceremony. Their daughter Amy showed my children all the farm animals which they loved, the views are spectacular and we were out every single day on a trek with still not enough time to see it all. A truly magical place, steeped in history, we will be back!

Comgall Cottage 24th to 27th July 2018
Had a most enjoyable stay in this spotless, comfortable and spacious cottage, well situated with the River Add just a few yards from the door.
Well equipped kitchen with many little extras supplied eg kitchen roll, washing up liquid and washing powder not to mention a good sized freezer - very handy for a longer stay.
Lesley and Ewan friendly and welcoming hosts and we shall be returning for another visit in October.

Thank you for your kind comments Connie. We look forward to seeing you and Sandy in October.
The nights are really quiet and the bed is really comfortable so a good nights sleep is virtually guaranteed.
We will certainly be back. Many thanks,
Davy and Ann Marie
