Anniversary Cup - Sunday 18 August 2024
A revised competition took place to accommodate the reduced numbers attending this year which generated four semi-final teams with Jackie Perry/Sue Watton being the eventual winners and Roy Salter/Pat Kinsey being runners up and Doug Russell/Verena Swinnerton finishing in third place.
Inaugural Shield - Sunday 4 August 2024
Great turnout by playing and no-playing members for the Inaugural Shield. Seven visiting teams from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Chelmarsh and Cleobury Mortimer were joined by seven home teams. Three mini leagues were played and the winners of each progressed to a further mini league of three and the eventual winners were Worfield F, which was made up of Andrew and Jackie Perry and John Preece. Runners up were Bridgnorth A with Worfield D being third.
Derek Buxton Trophy - Saturday 27 July 2024
A good turnout for the Derek Buxton Trophy and fish and chip supper organised by Alison Brazier which raised £148 for club funds. Congratulations to the eventual winner Bill Swinnerton and the gallant runner up Trevor Murphy.
Treasurers Bowl - Sunday 21 June 2024
Thanks to the members who played in the “Treasurer’s Bowl…draw for partner comp” on Sunday. Despite a very small turnout everybody enjoyed a lovely afternoon of Sunday Social Bowls.

Worfstock Shield - Sunday 2 June 2024
Many thanks to the members who played in or supported the Worfstock Shield competition last Sunday.
On a brilliantly sunny summer afternoon ten pairs competed in two mini leagues with the winners of each league contesting the final.
Congratulations to Adrian and Gill Owens the winners with John and Lizzie Preece finishing as runners up.
As usual the famous the refreshments were much appreciated by all.
