Winchester Spiritualist Church was given some recognition this year as we were approached by a local Funeral Director to ask if we had a Medium who would Officiate for a family at their mother's funeral. I officiated on the day and found it to be a moving, emotional experience as well as being a great privilege to help someone on their way into the Spirit World.
I also found it a great privilege this year 2017 to relay my memories of a friend and supporter of myself and of the Church for many years at his funeral. He had asked me to do so before he passed to spirit. As well as sharing my memories I also read the poem "If I knew" at the service.
The last service of the year is our Candlight Carol Service which seems to be growing each year in popularity. The picture below is of our very first candlight service before we got started.
