Who the heck is 50
Looks like a good time was had by all, sorry I missed it but couldn't drag myself away from the sunshine. Good to look @ the pixs & see some familiar faces from the past, the name tags help & some not so familiar. Makes me think I should have paid more attention when I was in school.
I have managed to get in touch with some of you through face book, thanks to the help of Jessie Anne Macleod, she has a great memory and she has been away longer than any of us, puts me to shame.
Anyone can find me on fb, Christina Morrison, fort lauderdale, fl............I dare you

Greetings from the USA
Hello - this is Deah from Carloway (Kathleen Macleod....now Stinson). I'm now living in Seattle and haven't seen many of you in years. After reading the comments, I remember Doreen. I think she was in my biology class (?) Was there a Donalda as well? I had Hoppa for history. Iain D. was in that class and he was always so brainy unlike moi. I'm sorry I can't be at the reunion but I'm sure you'll all have a great time.

anyone out there I might remember?
Hi! Ashamed to say I'm not in touch with anyone and didn't go to the 40th. I recognise Iain Macaulay and Eric Macdonald and that's all! Very embarassing when you can't recognise yourelf - I THINK I'm in the "3rd year girls" photo as an old friend is in it. I'm hopeless; I just can't remember anything from school except I'm sure there was a boy, Donald McGrath (?). Help! If anyone remembers me, please try and jog my memory. Who was Derek Goosey, as I seem to remember that name? If I go to this reunion it's going to be VERY strange! Thanks guys, I just discovered this site by accident.

I remember you if you're the Doreen from Uig. The girl I remember as Doreen is in the third year girls photo. On your left hand side is Bellann Buchanan ( from Uig or Bernera I think) and on your right is Margaret Ann MacRitchie from Ness. Your friend Donalda is on the front row. Derek Goosey is Roddie Goosey (the maths techers son). I think I can name most of the girls in that class photo - it's 3G5.

Phew thanks Christina! I was beginning to worry but I have no photos of myself that age so couldn't even be sure it was me! I remember Bellann but haven't seen her since we were 16 and Betty and Barbara Ferguson and I met Donalda about 15 years ago and we still send Xmas cards but I don't remember Margaret Ann. Are you in the photo? There are so many questions! I should have realised who Derek Goosey was. Do you remember Donald McGrath? I'm not sure I would even recognise a photo of him THEN never mind now. I spoke to Iain D on facebook but I feel a bit panicked looking at the photos and having no idea who they are or that I've ever seen them! Remind me of what classes I was in as I only remember 1N and that I had Brenda for English higher and loved her. Thanks Christina for confirming that I'm not totally crazy and anyone else out there who wants to jog my memory please comment. I have two kids who are anxious for feedback and my 9 years old recognised me from the photo! I don't want to go to this "reunion" until I get some feedback to go on!!

Glad I could help. I think you were on a few of my classes but can't say for certain. I also had Brenda but it was on 4th year - a wonderful teacher. On 5th I had 'Cowboy'. I'm thinking you were possibly on my Sec Studies but not really sure. Were you in the EH Hostel? if so i'm surprised you don't remember Margaret Ann as she was also there on 3rd and 4th year. It's so funny that you can't recognise yourself in the photo, it's just how I remember you and yes i'm also in the photo. I'm on the front row looking very miserable and don't know why - I look as if i've just been told my dog died! Barbara Allen is to my left and I can't remember for sure the name of the lassie to my right. I'm sure you'll meet plenty of people on the night who'll be able to jog your memory. The name Donald McGrath doesn't mean anything to me - sorry. Can you remember where he was from?

Hi Christina, thanks so much. It's really odd as I can remember people from other years but not my own. There's a photo with a guy who looks like James McLetchie (I've seen him on various gaelic programmes) Was he in our year? I told you I was hopeless and I'm mortified that I can't remember people from the hostel. I had a friend from Cromore called Mary Angela and she was nursing in Essex but I lost touch before we were 20. I'm sure Donald McGrath was in our year - he had a friend called Tina Hill - I think they were both from Stornoway, off Matheson Road somewhere I think. I remember the name Barbara Allen and I met a woman recently who asked if I knew her sister, Iona Faulkner. I knew the name but again have no idea! Names are coming back to me but quite a few times people have recognised me in Inverness but I'm clueless. I met someone called Jessie (forgotten her surname) and Catriona Fraser from Point who reckoned they remember me so you can imagine my predicament! I wish I'd gone to the 40th but I was expecting Jessica at the time and didn't fancy the journey plus morning sickness! I wonder if many people are going? I was painfully shy (not any more!) so I didn't really know many people particularly well and it would be nice to meet up with any artists/musicians or other likeminded people. My kids are bilingual so it would be nice to amongst gaelic people since we NEVER spoke gaelic at school. Life is weird! I'll be checking this site out to see if anyone else is out there who I might know or who have given any feedback.
