Oldham Council Environmental Services Allotment Competition Criteria for Judging •Presentation•Variety of crops •Quality of crops •Utilisation of space •Pests and disease •Weeds and debris •Growing techniques Prizes to be awarded THE SHANNON TROPHYawarded to the Best Six Allotment Plots on any one site THE OLDHAM CORPORATION CUPawarded to the Best Allotment site THE OLDHAM CHRONICAL CUPawarded as 1st prize for the Best Allotment in the Borough Competition and a prize to the value of £150.00 Second prize to the value of £100.00 is awarded to the runner up in the BestAllotment in the Borough Competition. Third prize to the value of £50.00 is awarded as third place in the BestAllotment in the Borough Competition. As in previous years a MERIT AWARD will be given to any plot holder whose allotment the judges feel deserves recognition.
