At Mayfield from 1957 to 1960 Hi, I was Victoria Bigden and remember Miss Austen, Miss Chivers and Miss MacClean the music teacher. I remember Mrs Nestor for needlework and Miss Gorrill for shorth tnd and typing. I was very happy at the school and was head of Nightingal House ca 1959. Miss Fisher was head and Mss Cooper deputy head. I was in the GNTC (girls nautical training corp) sea cadets, I worked for Abbey National and then Thames Television. I emigrated to Canada in 1975 and joined the police force, I retired 5 years ago.
