Here is todays news:

A really good new initiative for Gairloch has come from Julie (Strath Stores) and Flo (Na Mara). Following discussions with local businesses, the council, and getting the agreements in place for parking and so on, they have announced a proposed Christmas Fayre Wednesday 21st December in Strath Square car park from 4pm-8pm.
Choir, Santa, Stalls, Performances, Live Music, Hot food, Late Night Shopping, and an evening of entertainment for all the family.

And not really "news" as such, but we thought it worth mentioning the interesting wee "rainbow effect" over by Beinn Alligin the other night. Local photographer Ed Duncan leapt into his trusty Wartburg (only kidding!) and caught this image down by the Harbour.
