A couple of months ago, me and my two girls were lucky enough to meet this incredible man at Habberley Trails. He got my very shy teenager talking and smiling and spent a great deal of his time chatting with her and then helped her make a reindeer out of wicker. He then did the same with my youngest daughter and they made a giraffe together. When finding out we had recently lost my father, he then helped us all make a beautiful wicker heart for us to put on his grave. This was an amazing act of kindness and made the girls' day, particularly our oldest. He showed great patience when teaching them both how to make wicker animals and had a lovely way with children. He was a fascinating man to talk to and had a great sense of humour too. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness Vidor, we will never forget it.

Round Basket end of first day This needs to be soaked for 25 to 30 minutes, early on second day, wrapped in a towel towel (to keep damp) in order to complete the top of the basket.		The Vikings at York

Repairing an old basket to show that items used to be repaired.		Most baskets were repaired many times before they were burnt. The use of the different colour willow might make the children ask questions. Too many things are thrown away today rather than repaired.
