Seal Trips

There are seal trips to choose from, Plockton seal trip is a must and you will get fantastic views from the water. Calum and his crew will make you feel very welcome.  This drawing was done from Calum's garden.

Walks of Plockton

The  Brae  runs above the main street of the village, where you will get stunning views of Plockton Bay, Loch Carron and the Applecross Hills. Take the first right at the Plockton Inn and head up and round to the right. Carry on until Frithaird, where you can turn right down to the village or turn left and walk up Frithaird Hill.

Duncraig path

When arriving in Plockton take the signed path on the right jast past the station.  This takes you round the top of the bay(Dall) and onto the shore path on the other side.
Follow the path untill you reach the road leading to the Castle grounds.  This pastel was done from the path looking across to Plockton.

Television Mast

The television mast at the top of the Crags is easier to reach than may appear. The view is well worth it. Many people drive to a point below before they start the walk, which can be steep in places.Head out of the village  and take the first left marked Achmore.   At the cattle grid, turn right (signed Duirinish), then take the first left.Follow this road and you will come to the bottom of the mast. When you reach the top, it is well worth it with the most spectacular vews.

Beaches

From the Sidings there are two beaches within a 10 minute walk.

Coral beach

Take a walk over the hill where you will see the secluded and very peacefull place with views to the Isle of skye, where you can relax and have a swim.

Dubhaird

This is a more stoney beach where you can also enjoy a swim, there is a small coral cove on the far side that has views over to Rasay and Isle of skye.  This pastel was drawn from the road looking out to the bay and the start of the Cullins.
