Distressing Adverts

I support this view and would like to see all adverts shown between programmes.
Adverts around every ten minutes, as I have seen on one morning programme, is not acceptable.
Surely advertisers sponsoring programmes is the most effective way to promote something.

Television Licence for the over 75s
Payment for television licences for the over 75s, planned for June 2020, should be given more thought.
When I go to many theatre and community shows there is a concession for OAPs. This is not the case with the proposed charges for over 75s.
I agree with the charge when an elderly person is living with a family, when the whole family benefits from the free licence, but NOT when an elderly person is living alone.
A person living alone gets a 25% reduction in Council Tax, therefore a similar reduction should apply to a TV licence for a person over 75 who lives alone.
Perhaps someone at the BBC will see this logical solution.

These adverts ruin good programmes and cause distress to viewers.
Showing them between programmes would be less objectionable,, but PLEASE not in the middle of a programme.
