Stay Safe Highland is a Scottish charity (SC 044253) concerned with personal and community safety of older people across the Highlands. Older volunteers are available to talk to groups who meet during the daytime.
The range of our talks has been developed in response to research findings from among older people, and continues to evolve as new requesta and needs are highlighted.
Books and "freebies" as appropriate are distributed following our talks. This is designed to remind individuals of the key points mentioned and to help promote the independence and well-being of older people.
The talks are intended to leave your group well informed, feeling safe and well supported with this backup information.
We work in partnership with several statutory organisations as well as with other charities.
