The Colonsay Festival of Spring  2014

3 Weeks of Spring Things

Once again the festival was a very sunny success -

as usual the programme was jammed packed - with opportunities to learn more about the secret lives of Colonsay's Seabirds, the RSPB reserve on Oronsay, the island's diverse flora & fauna and a chance to visit some of the less well known areas of the island.  Alongside all these outdoor activities we were running many workshops including Photography, Stone Carving, Felting, Knitting & Crochet, Collage, Bread baking, Savoury tart cooking, Fabric dyeing and Glass work. For the evenings there was a variety of talks, shows & music.

The 2015 dates are April 27th to May 17th

Following the success of the 2013 CONNECT with COLONSAY October event, we are pleased to announce that the dates for 2014 are 11th to 31st October.  Once again the theme will be Nature, Food & Drink, with many activities designed especially for children.

Colonsay has a good variety of accommodation available, from a backpackers lodge, to self-catering cottages, B&B’s and a Hotel.
