Hi my name is bill myself my son in law arfon and my daughter kelly make up team merthyr.

what is team merthyr you ask well thats simple we are going to enter a 1997 ford mondeo in the benidorm or bust rally and drive 1500+ miles from merthyr tydfil in wales  to benidorm in spain.

The event will take place over 5 days

Day1 will be merthyr tydfil to folkstone on the 30th april 2014

Day2 will see us cross the channel to calais and then onto poitiers via rouen &le mans

Day3 we will then drive through bordeaux across the border into spain and onto zaragoza

Day4 we will then drive the last leg to benidorm.

Day5 is a bonus day where we will take the car and put it and us through our paces at the cartagena festival of speed with a 30 minute burn out on the track

Why the site you ask we need help to do this i have supplied the car but getting there will cost money ie fuel hotels ferrys and entry into the rally so sponsors needed if you want to help please feel free to get in touch via the feedback page or email me billhedley@ymail.com
