www.globalshortstories.net/ it has a competition each month, no fees, no prizes!! But you can hone your skills.

www.writersdigest.com is an American site but does have some good writing prompts and articles.

www.justacontest.com seems to be just what it says, a list of competitions, all ages, poetry and all lengths of prose. The competitions have an entry fee but also good prizes.

www.forwardpoetry.co.uk is all about poetry they have monthly and longer time competitions most are free to enter.
