Why are we selling the property?

As part of our downshifting, we have decided to keep only one property so we are selling this one and will be moving to our 2nd house in the Alpes Maritimes.

Please explain the Right of Way you mentioned in the Photos Page

The size of the property was originally 1,300 sqm.  The previous owner, in order to secure a Permit to Construct had to add further 200 sqm so he purchased a portion of his neighbour's land with the condition that that neighbour is secured a Right of Way to his property.

Can we enlarge the house?

At the moment, no. 

When we bought the property in 2002, it was constructible land, but in 2004, the town's Building Laws were changed and our zone had been declared non-constructible land in view of the "access road is less than 4 meters in width"  According to the Town Mayor, this law can be changed depending on future circumstance.
