Meet Chef Michael @ The Three Chimneys

Saturday 10th & 17th Sep 2011 - Highlands & Islands

Head Chef Michael Smith is inviting visitors to join him in his brand new kitchen at The Three Chimneys at 10.30am on Saturday 10th and Saturday 17th September during Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight.

A demonstration area has been incorporated into the new kitchen design and those attending may watch him prepare and cook the restaurant's favourite West Coast Fish Soup and Buttermilk Scones.  These will then be served as part of a 2 or 3 course lunch in the restaurant following the demonstration.

During the demo, the audience may chat informally to Michael, ask him questions and details about his fresh ingredients from the Isle of Skye, his life as a Scottish chef and work at The Three Chimneys.  

Those who wish to attend this event should make a lunch reservation for the day and inform the Three Chimneys if they wish to attend the demo as well.  Only 12 people will be able to attend the demo with Michael, but lunch will be served to the public as usual, using the best local ingredients available.  It may be possible to visit the kitchen after lunch and to meet Michael briefly at that time too.  

EVERY day is a food festival at The Three Chimneys and the restaurant will be open every day for Lunch and Dinner throughout Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight.
