2nd Ain't Bad.....
So monday drew a close to our Summer League season. A season of a hell of alot of highs (highest ever league finish, record numbers out at tournements, Wilson & Sean winning the League Doubles, getting 3 players into the semi's of the Leage Singles, with Sean narrowly missing out on defending the title to name a few) and the occasional low. I think we all can agree it wasn't just a great season, it was fantastic. We showed this league and others that having top players doesnt win you things, have a top team gets you places. We stuck in, stuck together and most importantly played with smiles on our faces all summer. Absolutely fantastic.
We now move into the Winter League, opening up against the guys along @ Bensons Bar. We go along with some changes though. We say goodbye to Sean Roseburgh & John Baigrie who will leave us for the Winter to play along at the Longstone Social Club. Think we all are together when we say thanks to the boys and wish them all the best. See you next summer lads!
All thats left to say is get practising, get the heads back in the game and lets blitz the Winter League.

Drouthy's No More!
For anyone who is interested, the Drouthy Neebor's Darts team have moved venues and will now be playing from Jeanie Dean's Bar, and will now be known as Jeanie Dean's. Doesn't effect us really, but you never know, we might get promoted.
