Welcome to our new site.
Our broad aim was to drive from Stilton England to Australia and then tour for two years before moving on to New Zealand.
Still in the planning stage and re-building the Landrover (Sandy) as a caravenette ready for the trip. (now finished) We expected to leave England about March 2012. This has been delayed indefinitely due to serious illness. Not sure now when I go or if I do.

The Auz trip is off the agenda, for now anyway. Maybe next year when the pain is not so strong. Meanwhile I am going to Norway this year to the Arctic Circle at the top to NordKapp the most northerly part of the EU.
Approximately 6000 miles I expect to take 8 to 10 weeks depending upon the planning and weather.
Looking to leave in late May or early June to take advantage of the summer months where the temperature is quite mild considering the location. -5 to +20. (I hope).
Rough route, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, France.
Fuel is one of the largest considerations ranging from 1.32 to 1.88 Euros p/ltr. Estimated fuel cost £1570.00. You don’t go far at 24 mpg.
