We have been involved in the development of homes in the Blidworth Conservation Area since it was established in 1976.

Our first development, Forge House, on Field Lane, was completed in 1978.

Following this, we carried out a sympathetic renovation of the former Wesleyan School, constructed in 1884 and then built Red Lion Lodge in 2004.

When the White Lion closed its doors, after over 200 years trading, in 2013, we recognised the opportunity to turn a building of local historical interest into a family home.

Research of old documents at the County Archives revealed the origins of the building as a farmhouse where the farmer brewed beer for sale as a side line, probably growing his own hops in the fields. You can still find hops in some of the old hedgerows in the village.
