More Ruckmans
We recently traveled to West Virginia and passed through Pocahontas County. While there, we also located a few Ruckman headstones near Romney, WV.

There is more family history in the Whitley County, Indiana Historical Society's website. There are several of us in that area. This will not allow me to enter a website, or I would send you a link. Just search for Ruckman history once there.

I look forward on getting to know more of my family's history!

Hello
I just wanted to say it's neat to see my family name on a well put together website! I truly don't know if there is any connection between our families but just wanted to say Hello :) My dad was raised in Marionville, Mo. and his parents were Homer Pryor Ruckman and Rose Fern (Vader)Ruckman.

Iowa Ruckmans
I am a descendant of William and Mary Miller Ruckman who were married in Greene Co, OH in 1827. They moved into Indiana, where some of their children were born and ventually settled in Wapello Co, Iowa. Does anyone have any info on this family?

I have my Great-Grandfather who is named William Wallace Ruckman, but he married Mary Matilda Ankrom. They only had 1 child, a son, Jesse, who is my Grandfather. You must have a Charlotte Rockwell in your family tree (based on the middle name of Rockwell).
