Robert's wrtitings
In 2004 I found Robert's website Windsongs, and enjoyed his writing.
I still have copies of the stories he posted there, but never learned his full name.
At the time, I'd met online a Chinese girl with a choice to make in life about schooling. Because of Robert's "Moon in a Shoebox", I emailed him, and he gave us both good advice.
Now I found she passed away, and reread Robert's stories, searched again and found his full name on a Chinese blog that quoted that story.
I felt that was appropriate, and tribute to him. How many live he, and we all, touch without ever knowing.
Well, I thanked him for that back then, but wish I'd sent an email each time his stories came to my mind.

Condolences
My condolences to Mrs Strickland and Robert's family. May God grant them comfort and solace in their time of bereavement.

I'd by lying if I ever said I admired his racial views. [Ed - Probably fair to say that Robert felt the same way about yours]

However every human being on this earth is God's creation and for that alone, their life is valuable and the loss of any person is bound to cause pain in hearts.

Happy Trails
Robert was an amazing person whose left brain and right brain were incredibly well-developed. I see him walking down a trail through the bush, Castle in hand, elephant herd visible in the distance, with ocean waves roaring behind him. He is smiling in his best of all possible worlds.
