Woodland Trust at Lang Craigs
The Woodland Trust is providing opportunities for thousands of schoolchildren from Dumbarton, Glasgow, Clydebank and beyond to plant trees and have a hand in creating a new wood for future generations to enjoy. The children also get to take part in fun educational activities to help them connect with the natural world. To help teachers bring the classroom outdoors the Woodland Trust Scotland and Forestry Commission Scotland have produced a free curriculum-linked outdoor learning pack for primary school teachers, which contains advice, ideas and activities.
