Here are some good eating out options for veg(etari)ans.  All places listed are believed to cater for vegans.  Addresses are all available online.  Please tell the GVS Secretary of other places you know about. 

Thai food warning: Thai restaurants can be less aware of the definition of vegetarian.  So check beforehand and on arrival (a) that they're not using fish sauce in some dishes (ask for soy sauce instead), and (b) that they're not re-using oil or pans that meat dishes have just been fried in to cook vegetarian dishes.
