It is with great sadness that we report of the news of Pam's death at the beginning of June 2009.

Pam was such an integral part of Team Tilley - with such enthusiasm and passion for canoeing in wild places. She was always great fun and had a wicked sense of humour.

We'll miss her more than we could ever convey.

Abbie is Social Worker in Stockport and is Pam's eldest daughter; while no one could replace Pam, we are thrilled that Abbie has chosen to join us in our adventures.

Jon works as a mechanic in Hazel Grove, and canoes in his spare time.
He is the unoffical photographer for the team, and often supplies cake!

Libby works as an Outdoor Education Worker for Stockport Youth Service. Canoeing is her fave sport and she is currently working toward her Level 3 Canoe Coach Assessment!

~ | PAM

Pam was an Award worker for Stockport's Duke of Edinburgh Open Award Centre, and also ran her own business walking and looking after people's dogs. She had her own canoe and paddles it whenever she could!

Pete is Sue's husband and has been wih us on our adventures since the start as our support driver and supplier of fine local produce. Recently he has taken to the water too!

Rob is Team Tilley's very own Ray Mears! He's an outdoors-y kinda guy and knows lots about trees and bushcraft. He works with the D of E Award in Stockport, and his wife makes fab knitted socks!

Sue Works for Warrington Youth Service. She has a back garden full of boats, including a canoe, kayak, sea kayak and an inflatable kayak, which recently took her and Pete down the Ardeche!
