Looking to connect with family history
Hello. I'm the granddaughter of a Richard Lawler from Florida, by way of New Jersey. He passed before I was born, and I am hoping to learn more about our history. My family is spread out all over the US, but many are in NJ and CA.

My family have lived in New Zealand since 1864. My great grandmother, Catherine Lalor was born in Abbyliex.
We here in New Zealand are very proud of our Irish ancestors. Hope to visit you all as soon as our borders are open.
In our Maori language,

Ballybunion Lawlers
Hello! My name is Riley, I'm a college student from Minnesota doing some genealogy research to know more about my grandma's family (she was a Lawler). My 4th great-grandfather was Jeremiah Lawler, from Ballybunion in Kerry. I'm struggling to find information about him and his line of the Lawlers/Lawlors. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it!

It has been awhile since your post so I am guessing that you have been able to find the information you were looking for. Ancestry.com has lots of information related to Jeremiah Lawler if you are still looking for info as there are a lot of descendants of the marriage between Jeremiah Lawler and Margaret English.

Lawler family in South Africa and Ireland
My great grandmother Katherine Beckett, born Lawler, was born in Grahamstown South Africa in 1869. Her father Michael Lawler was a tailor and died in Grahamstwon in 1895. I believe my branch of the Lawler family hailed from Kilkenny in Ireland. Would anyone perhaps be able to help me with my research. Best wishes to all. Guy Beckett in South Africa.
