Born in Ajax, Ontario, Jennifer Newman began dancing at age 3, where she continued performing through high school and on to York University's dance program where she realized performing was both her passion and her purpose. From there it was an obvious step for her to singing and finally acting. Jennifer has performed in various places around the world and is now based out of both Toronto and Los Angeles. She has won a variety of lead roles in many different genres of film and continues to explore and explain her world through both music and film. Jennifer Newman is an intelligent, versatile and intuitive performer, who has dedicated herself to both her craft and her life.

The Escape' is a four piece band that is based in Ontario and features Jennifer Newman on vocals, Tommy Pullin on lead guitar, Brad Daniels on Bass and Steve Martin on drums.
