Welcome To Mossdale Sheepdogs

   The home of Mossdale sheepdogs which is run by Brian Bell and Lynn Morland, is a small hill farm in County Durham in the North of England. We run about 250 ewes which are mostly Hebrideans and Texel crosses. 

   We are also breed 1 or 2 litters a year from our working dogs and are licenced breeders with Durham County Council. 

   Our Latest claim to fame is that we bred Emma Gray's Megan, who recently was sold for a record 18,000 Guineas at Skipton Sheepdog Sales. She is now happily working cattle for Brian Stamps in America

  Brian's passion is sheepdog trialling and he has competed for over 40 years, he usually has 1 or 2 dogs qualified for the English National Trial each year and has run on the English Team at both World and International Trials,

  Lynn also competes in sheepdog trials and also spent several years previously competing in agility and heelwork to music.
