EPPI-Centre Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and coordination Centre. Part of the Social Science Research Unit, Institute of Education, University of London.
Practical Research for Education (PRE) also by NFER 'provides research articles written with school staff in mind and focuses on practical applications from research. It is a priced publication but each issue includes a free article to download.'
Cambridge University has a very useful publications section and resources section (which has links to other good sites with publications) and free online journals and useful links
The Educational Evidence Portal (EEP) provides 'educational evidence from a range of reputable UK sources using a single search. It is designed for both professional and lay people interested in education and children's services.'
